How Lonely Life Can Be

Magsaysay, a remote barangay located in the province of Prosperidad, Agusan Del Sur. This picture was taken in 1994, bringing back the past and it reminds me of those moments that that had gone through. Still no improvements and takes only little changes.

This is where our family started. Ahead (looking north) is another barangay called Los Arcos which is kilometer away. I remembered when we use to walk from here to (going south) Lianga, Surigao Del Sur which is 10 kilometers away. We walked that far starting from 6 am to 6 pm. During rainy seasons the road was muddy. We arrived in Lianga totally exhausted and would stay for the night at my mother's relative.

Since i was born until today the scene is still the same. Although there may be minor developments yet it always remind me of how poor this land could be. Though you can breath fresh air and hear birds humming these can't make you happy. There must be something happen here - it really needs improvements. I wish that all is well and still hoping that this land will prosper.
